Organ Lessons & Repertoire — Mirco Lieber

Projects, Playlist und Concerts

My organ repertoire includes compositions by J. S. Bach, D. Buxtehude, Boëlly, G. Frescobaldi, V. Lübeck, L. Boëllmann, F. Mendelssohn, L. Vierne, M. Duruflé, Th. Dubois, and C. Franck, spanning the North German Baroque, French Classical, and Romantic-Symphonic organ traditions. I began my organ studies in Ljubljana with Prof. Mario Perestegi, continued in Vienna with Prof. Michael Stephanides, and studied further with Prof. Wolfgang Capek. The organ was part of my broader training in keyboard performance practice at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana and the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW), alongside accordion and harpsichord. Registration, pedal technique, and the acoustics of the performance space are central to how I both play and teach this repertoire in my online lessons.
