FOLK MUSIC-Mirco Lieber

Love this sound? Mirco teaches Oberkrainer-style accordion and folk arrangement in his private online lessons, alongside his classical training — book a free lesson to try it. In the past, he has recorded 10 CDs and compilations with various instrumentations as an accordionist, composer, arranger and music producer of Slovenian Oberkrainer Musik in Slovenia and Austria. He wrote about 70 of his own compositions and numerous arrangements for small and large ensembles, and has received several awards for his music at various festivals. This folk work grew alongside his classical training in accordion, piano and keyboard instruments at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana and the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW), and it still shapes how he teaches: folk tune-and-arrangement work sits comfortably next to classical repertoire in his online lessons.
