Mirco Lieber was seven years old and couldn't yet reach the piano pedals — but he already had an accordion in his arms. That childhood curiosity in a small Slovenian village led through decades of concert performances across Europe — including Vienna — and studies at music academies in Ljubljana to thousands of lessons with students worldwide. Today he teaches online, live via Zoom, wherever his students are.

He holds two Master's degrees — in concert accordion from the Academy of Music Ljubljana, and in harpsichord (with organ studies) from the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW). In over 30 years of teaching he has guided hundreds of students, from complete beginners to advanced players, on piano, accordion, organ, harpsichord and melodica.

Alongside private lessons, Mirco also teaches Oberkrain and Alpine folk-music styles on accordion, and builds in foundational music theory for students who want to understand the "why" behind what they play — not just piano, accordion, harpsichord, organ and melodica, but the musical thinking that connects them.
